Fantasy Springs Casino in the California desert hit record highs when Ry Bradley hit the stage with his smokin’ hot performance. After facing six talented competitors, Ry Bradley won the 33rd annual Kix Hot Country “Country Showdown!”
In front of a charged up crowd of Country Music fans Ry tore into the opening notes of his song “Gone” and cranked the energy level to the extreme. Ry finished the song with a powerful guitar solo that had him playing his guitar held high behind his head as the crowd erupted in a thunderous applause.
Ry’s final song of the evening was his upcoming single “Freedom Like This” due to be released on August 11th. Ry added an extended guitar outro that took the crowd right into the heartbeat of the song and to the tips of their toes.
After the cheering from the crowd subsided the first judge, Al Bowman representing the LA Music Awards said, “That’s the highest score I’ve ever gave anybody in any class” Mr. Bowman went on to nominate Ry for “Country Artist of The Year” right on the spot. The final judge Jules Hamland simply asked, “Why are you not famous yet?” When given a chance to respond to the judges, Ry humbly stated that he was “just happy to be there and grateful to be a part of the event” and then joked to Ms. Hamland that “my mom keeps asking me the same question.”
After the Judges deliberated for an hour, the contestants approached the stage to hear the results. Scott Sear representing Kix Hot Country and the Director of Marketing & Promotions for Copper Mountain Broadcasting read the final results. “The 33rd Kix Hot Country “Country Showdown” winner is, Ry Bradley!” He went on to say Ry had won a spot in the “Country Showdown” state finals to be held at Knott’s Berry Farm on September 6th and Ry’s band would play direct support at the “Party in the Pasture” Country Music festival on Saturday, September 27th!
